Two Week Canoe Adventure in Canada’s Middle Earth

Brothers Maxim and Xander Budnick‬ set out on a 17 day wilderness canoe adventure down Canada’s Mountain River in the Northwest Territories.

Mountain River is a remote, fast-flowing, whitewater river known for its challenging rapids and stunning scenery through canyons in the Mackenzie Mountains. It flows from the Mackenzie Mountains near the Yukon border and is a tributary of the Mackenzie River, which flows into the Beaufort Sea. It’s considered one of Canada’s premier wilderness rivers, attracting a small number of adventurous canoeists each year.
